Vanilla Bean Lip Balm Slider Tin

The gorgeous vanilla orchid bloom lasts only one day and must be pollinated within twelve hours in order to grow a bean. Vanilla grown in South America gets a helping hand from the Melipona bee. In Madagascar and other areas, pollination must be done by hand.
Flavor details: The tiny speck of vanilla bean seed lingers (you might even find one!); a delicate, dreamy frenchish vanilla scent.
Vanilla beans take nine months to mature. After picking, the beans are briefly dunked in boiling water to develop the vanillin.
The bean then gets carefully dried for 30+ days and massaged for more flavor development.
