Why Use This Instead of 99% Isopropyl Alcohol: You can use 99% isopropyl alcohol as an activator — many artists do. But this Activator is formulated to provide a slightly longer open time before drying. That extra working time matters when you're blending colors on skin, building complex wound effects, or working on detailed character makeup. If your palette dries too fast with straight alcohol, this is the upgrade. Works With: All alcohol-activated makeup palettes and paints from any brand — Narrative Cosmetics, Skin Illustrator, Ben Nye, Mehron, Kryolan, Graftobian, and others. Also works for thinning alcohol-activated airbrush paints to achieve the right spray consistency. How to Use: 1. Apply 1–3 drops directly into the palette pan. 2. Wait a few seconds.
